Preparing to leave

As some of you may know, I'm leaving tomorrow night for Kenya for 2 months on a medical mission trip.  I'll be at Kapsowar Hospital with the organization Africa Inland Mission.  One of my favorite songs that encapsulates my feelings as I prepare to leave is "A Living Prayer" by Alison Krauss:

In this world I walk alone
With no place to call my home,
But there's one who holds my hand
Through rugged roads, through barren lands.
The way is dark, the road is steep,
But He's become my eyes to see,
The strength to climb, my griefs to bear.
The Savior lives inside me there.

Chorus:
In Your love I find relief,
A haven from my unbelief.
Take my life and let me be
A living prayer, my God, to Thee.

Although I'm excited for what lies ahead in the next 2 months, I am also anxious about the unknowns and the unexpected challenges I'll face.  I would appreciate prayer for safe travels and adjustment to life in Kenya.  I'll post again once I'm in Africa!!
